General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS)

 

Notions of visitor, customer and vendor / seller

The visitor of the present website www.romanoconte.photos is considered as a user who does not make any purchase nor contact the seller. He becomes a customer when he contacts us by means of the form provided for this purpose on the /contact page or when he places an order. The seller is the owner of the products, the provider of the services and the present website and the online shop.

Products and services

A product is a photo proposed for sale online or in an exhibition, no matter the dimension, the format, the support on which it is printed. A digital photo is also considered as a product. A service is the realization of an event that is organized in advance with a contract of mandate that governs the business relationship between the photographer (representative) and the client (constituent).

Formats of the photos on sale

Printed photos

The photos for printing are available in different formats, depending on the resolution and quality of the photo.

The prints available on metal (matte or glossy aluminum) with wall mounting device, mainly with the ratios 3 x 2 or 4 x 3:

Medium format 40 x 60 cm
Large format 90 x 60 cm

For larger formats or for panoramic photos (printed on canvas, according to a size to be determined in advance), please contact me before ordering online.

Digital photos for download

Digital photos are available in different formats, depending on the resolution and quality of the photo, but at least 2048px on two of the four sides (long edge).

Terms and conditions of payment

For any product or service, the following payments are accepted: credit cards, bank transfer and PayPal. In all cases, the customer will be directed to a secure site to make the payment. The type of secure site depends on the payment method selected by the customer during the purchase process. Always check that the padlock is displayed in the browser’s address bar.

Online product sales: no product will be shipped without proof that the payment has been posted in full (including shipping costs) to the vendor’s bank account.

Sale of services: according to the contractually defined terms.

Prices

The price of the products is indicated in CHF, net amount, without VAT and guaranteed. Payments in EUR are also possible, for this the exchange rate of the day will be applied. The shipping costs depend on the destination and are calculated and communicated at the end of the online purchase process. The vendor reserves the right to adjust the shipping prices according to the market at any time and without prior notice.

Purchase and acceptance of the GTCS

By proceeding to payment on the /shop, specifically by clicking on the “Validate Order” button or the “Checkout” button, the customer places a firm and contractually binding order. To place the order, the box “I have read and accept the terms and conditions” must be checked, thus declaring to have read, understood and accepted fully, completely and without reservation the present GTCS.

Restriction of delivery zones

I only ship to the following countries:
Switzerland, Liechtenstein, France, Monaco, Belgium, Italy, Germany and Austria.

Those wishing to order products who do not live in one of the countries listed above, may send a request for quotation by contacting via the form available on the /contact page or by email to romano conte.

Delivery or download (depending on the format of the product ordered)

The printed photos will be sent by a parcel (with a specific packaging to protect its contents) by priority mail. For shipments in Switzerland, the package will arrive within 3 weeks after receipt of payment (the delay is necessary, because the photo must be printed, checked, packed and sent). For shipments abroad, the delivery time is about 4 weeks, but cannot be guaranteed, as it strongly depends on the chosen partners.

The digital photo for download is available once the purchase and payment process is completed correctly. After the purchase and payment process, a download link is sent to the email address indicated in the “Order validation / Billing details” section. The link is usually sent within 24 hours and remains valid for 30 days only, this for security reasons. If the link should no longer be valid, simply contact the seller via the form available on the /contact page or by email to romano conte indicating the order number.

The customer is solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of their email address. If not, he will not receive the download link. In this case, he/she should contact via the form available on the /contact page or by email to romano conte, indicating necessarily the number of his/her financial transaction, or even the purchase number.

The purchase of a downloadable product is final and no refunds will be issued.

A printed product can be returned. For this, please consult the Return Policy.

What happens after I complete an online purchase?

Unless otherwise specified by the customer, the information and contact details will be kept in the database for a period of approximately 5 years. If a customer is against this principle, he can exercise his right and ask for the definitive deletion of his data by contacting us via the form available on the /contact page or by email to romano conte. These requests will be processed and confirmed in writing after a deadline of 30 days at the latest.

To prevent customer data from being saved, orders can be placed as a guest, in other words without creating a customer account

Changes to the GTCS

The vendor reserves the right to change the present GTCS at any time and without notice. Only the version published on this website is binding. However, a service booked or a product purchased before the date of modification of our GTCs will remain subject to the GTCS prior to those published on this site.

Site security

The website is, among other things, secured with an SSL certificate via Let’s Encrypt. For this reason, a padlock and the indication “https” are displayed on the left of the browser’s address bar.

The owner of this site strives to use the best technologies to keep the use of our website as safe as possible and to fight against abuses, such as unauthorized access to our database or even data theft. However, he cannot be held responsible if malicious individuals take possession of the stored data against his will.

Privacy Policy

No kidding: everyone’s privacy is truly important! The vendor undertakes and guarantees not to sell or pass on any personal data to third parties in any form. All data provided will be treated as strictly confidential and in accordance with the provisions of the applicable data protection laws.
