All artworks, including limited-edition prints, are created, inspected, and packaged with the highest standards of care. Because of their fragile nature and the authenticity measures applied (Certificate of Authenticity, seals, and artist’s signature), all sales are considered final unless otherwise required by applicable law.
2. Eligibility for Returns
A return will only be accepted in the following cases:
- Transport damage: if the artwork arrives damaged due to shipping, provided that the addressee has either (i) immediately noted a reserve or damage remark with the carrier at the time of delivery and documented the issue with clear photographs of both the packaging and the damaged condition, or (ii) refused acceptance of the delivery due to visible damage.
- Wrong item received: if the product delivered does not match the order confirmation.
- Manufacturing defect: in the rare event of a production flaw that does not comply with the description on the website.
- Returned items must be received in the exact condition in which they were delivered. Any item returned in a state inconsistent with the reported claim will not qualify for a refund or replacement.
Claims must be submitted within 8 days of delivery unless a longer period is mandated by applicable law.
Returns will not be accepted in cases of:
- Change of mind, personal preference, dissatisfaction with the size or format, or other errors made by the buyer.
- Claims based solely on subjective expectations of quality or dissatisfaction with the artwork, as all pieces are produced and delivered to the highest professional standards in strict accordance with the product description and order specifications.
- Damage caused by improper handling, display, or storage after delivery.
- Any attempt to remove, tamper with, or damage the Certificate of Authenticity, seal, or signature.
- Failure to notify romano conte photography within the required claim period and before returning the item.
Any claim that does not comply with these conditions will be automatically rejected. The above conditions are non-exhaustive, and romano conte photography reserves the right to reject return requests that fall outside the scope or spirit of this policy.
3. Procedure for Claims
If you believe you are eligible for a return:
- Notify romano conte photography through the dedicated online contact form or by email within 8 days of receipt of the artwork.
- Include your order number and proof of purchase.
- Provide clear photographs of the packaging, the artwork, and the defect or damage.
All claims will be reviewed carefully, and we will confirm by email whether a return or replacement is authorized.
4. Return Shipping
Authorized returns must be shipped back in their original packaging, including all protective materials and documentation.
The customer is responsible for the secure repacking of the artwork.
Unless otherwise required by law, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method.
5. Refunds or Replacements
If a return is approved, we may offer either a replacement (if available) or a refund of the purchase price.
Refunds or replacements will be issued only after the returned artwork has been received, inspected, and verified.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 30 days of approval. Please note that additional processing time may occur depending on the customer’s bank or payment provider, and such delays are beyond the control of romano conte photography.
Shipping charges as well as any customs duties or taxes are non-refundable.
Replacements will be shipped using the same delivery method as the original order within 30 days of approval. Delivery times may vary depending on the carrier and external circumstances, which are beyond the control of romano conte photography.
Digital products are strictly non-refundable.
6. Limited Edition Integrity
Each limited-edition print is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and unique identifiers. Returns will not be accepted if these elements are missing, tampered with, or damaged, as this would compromise the authenticity of the limited edition.
This Return Policy aims to safeguard both the integrity and the exclusivity of each limited-edition artwork.
